Part 84: Wrap-Up: Trevor Island

I don't know why Gordon likes us so much, or why Linda hasn't come to like us at all.









Let's take a look around.



The fourth weed of a weeding chain nets us this figure of Jetpack Trevor! And, with that, we've found all the collectibles that can currently be had on Trevor Island. Trevor Island is rather small in a lot of ways.



Let's finish up some Scrolls, too. A fair bit of fishing completes this one.



: Oh, this stuff looks so cool!



Sam gets Wooden Frames in Beam, Girder, and Post forms. It took me a shockingly long time to realize that what I was actually being given were the pieces of a proscenium arch. Whoops! No wonder Gordon, Linda, and Buddy have merged into a terrifying hellbench-creature.



Quick visits to the Forest of the Elves and Renee's Nature Preserve net us the Arowanas and Catfish we need for this Scroll.

: Oh, this stuff looks so cool!



This nets us a Museum Column, a Tudor Lamp, a Fishy Weather Vane, a Harbormaster Roof and Porthole, a Conch, an Auger Shell, a Ship Wheel, a Bannister, and some Harbormaster Paints. I guess maybe I should go build Barney a new house.



Let's go turn in all our prizes.

: Um, gee, Buddy. Maybe it's because you get seasick, and I'm the one with all the maps.

: Oh yeah.

Pause.

: Hey, Lyndsay. How come you always get to hold the maps?

: ...

First, Cutopia!



Spencer showers us in Simoleons.



Poppy gives us Cherry Blossoms and goes back to sleep.

Next, Rocket Reef!



She's worth some Simoleons, too. (Ashley is another one of those characters who only shows up in the DS MySims games. I have no idea what Vic is on about.)



: Apparently she was upset one hadn't been made, so she put Cutopian economic sanctions up against the company until they made a full run of Daniels! That lady is scary!

Vic gives us Mana.



: As far as I can tell, there's absolutely no reason for them to have made this figure... an actor with a jetpack? What were they thinking? Was he doing some kind of sky-play? There's no such thing as a sky-play!

Well, there probably is now. Sam gets Electrobits.

Finally, Capital Island!



: Did you know Marlon was named after that kind of fish?

Barney rains Simoleons.



Horrifying! Also, our reward is Bacon! Wow!



: Those light bulbs on their heads were used long ago by miners to light caves!

Mana!



Since we're so close to actually being done, Sam hangs around in Barney's place until enough Pencils fall out of the bookshelf to complete that one Scroll that we've been toting all over the place.

: Hey, Sam! Did you finish a Scroll?



: Oh, this stuff looks so cool!



Sam gets the motherlode of Cute furniture: a Cute Bed, a Flower Chair, a Heart Chair, a Cute Coffee Table and Dining Table, a Heart End Table, a Cute Lounge Chair and Sofa, some Flower Power Paint, and some Cute Castle Floor Paint. This will surely never be useful during our second round of Cutopia quests.
